I like crocheting with plastic bag "yarn" (a.k.a. "plarn"). I've made lots of crocheted plastic-bag bags (including these) ... but last weekend I saw a RUG crocheted out of plastic bags.
So, of course, I had to try that idea ...
So, this crochet is a little tighter than my usual plarn crochet ... single layer of bag-yarn, and smaller crochet-hook ...
Anyway, I'm trying stripes of gray and white in a rectangular rug shape ...
I'll post more pictures when I have more progress to report.

One day I would like to do this. But first I need to clear about 20+ quilts out of the way first. You have a lovely blog and some very nice quilts. Love the shirt quilt.

ReplyDeleteI was searching for high-quality and durable carpet yarns, and recently came across excellent options for PP Fibrillated Yarn for Carpet price. The pricing is competitive considering the strength and texture these yarns offer. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor carpets, they ensure long-lasting performance. It’s great to see Indian manufacturers providing reliable and cost-effective fibrillated yarn solutions for multiple applications, from commercial to domestic carpeting needs.
